Christmas Nails =D
From left to right: Funky Fingers in Stage Diva, Revlon Matte Suede in Fire Fox,Revlon Matte Suede in Emerald City.

Funky Fingers Stage Diva is a clear polish with huge pieces of silver glitter as well as fine silver glitter!

Revlon Matte Suede in Fire Fox is a a matte red with red shimmer. It is opaque with two coats and because it is a matte polish it dries fast!

Revlon Matte Suede in Emerald City- reviewed in a previous blog post!

Festive Nails!!!
What I did was paint every other nail red and the other green. Then I added Funky Fingers Stage Diva to add sparkle and a festive look to my nails.

Christmas Present Nails

Christmas Present Nails

From left to right: Revlon Matte Suede in Emerald City; Rimmel London French White Tip Pro in French White Nail Tip Liner; Ruby Kisses Nail Polish in Ruby Slippers.

Revlon Matte Suede in Emerald City is the perfect green! It is an emerald green packed with green shimmer. And as the bottle says it has a Matte Suede finish which I love on it's own but if you are not to keen on the matte finish, just add a top coat for a shiny finish.

Rimmel London's French White Tip Pro (Review in a past blog post).

Ruby Kisses Nail Polish in Ruby Slippers is a red polish packed with red and silver micro glitter. Also perfect for Christmas :)

The design is not perfect but I think it is really pretty and represents Christmas really well. I only did the design on my thumb and ring finger but you can do it on all your nails and even add a glitter top coat if you want!

China Glaze - Snow Globe

Snow Globe

This polish is from the China Glaze 2011 Holiday Collection. It has a sheer color base, so I used one coat of Snow me White by Sinful Colors as my base (scroll for review). Snow Globe has multi-colored glitter in gold, aqua, green, blue, and purple and let just say that I absolutely love this polish. It actually looks like the snow and glitter in a snow globe! Two coats and you get a beautiful winter wonderland on your nails.

Snowflake Nails

Snowflake Nails

From left to right: Wet n Wild Fast Dry in the color Saved by the Blue; Rimmel London French White Tip Pro in 110 French White Nail Tip Liner; Wet n Wild Wild Shine in the color Kaleidoscope

I used Wet n Wild Saved by the Blue as my base color. Saved by the Blue is a true blue with a slight metallic finish. This polish is opaque with only 1 coat but I always like to add 2 coats anyways! This polish also has a slight shimmer to it in the sunlight! (Retail price is $1.99)

Rimmel London's French White Tip Pro is what I used to make the actual snowflake! I love this polish because of the thin brush it has. Also it is a creme white polish.

Wet n Wild Kaleidoscope is a clear polish packed with silver and what seems to be holographic glitter! I added this polish as a top coat to give the illusion of actual snow and I think it is the perfect polish! Also it is only .99 cents =D

OPI Bring on the Bling

OPI Bring on the Bling

Bring on the Bling is part of OPI's Burlesque Collection (Holiday 2010) and is literally like bling on your nails. It is a yellow gold with multi glitter. You will need between 2-3 coats for an opaque finish. This polish is that of "gritty" glitter so in order to get a smooth finish you will need a top coat. Another downside to this polish is that it tends to chip rather easily and it does not apply evenly so you might end up with "bald spots" on your nails. I do love this polish though. Mainly because of the gold color and how it sometimes gives a rose gold color in certain lights which is really pretty. It might have to do with the micro glitter, that gives this polish a true BLING factor!

(You can see in these pictures how my nails have a rose gold tint to them at times.)

China Glaze - Mrs. Claus

Mrs. Claus

This fantastic nail polish is from the China Glaze 2010 Holiday Collection. It is very unique because it is jelly-like opposed to normal nail polish. This polish requires 2-3 coats (I applied 2). It is a red with a slight hint of pink tint with silver glitters (unfortunately, the red tint covers the silver as you apply a couple of layers). I love this polish but I wish it were a true red since it is supposed to be a holiday color.

OPI Show It And Glow It!

OPI Show It And Glow It!

OPI Show It And Glow It! is part of OPI's Holiday Burlesque 2010 Collection. This polish is a fusia, purple glitter with micro glitters. It has silver, blue, green, yellow, and I think a bit of gold. It is a little hard to see some of the glitters sometimes but those are the main glitter colors in this polish. I only needed 2 coats for an even finish, which is great for a polish packed with glitter! Anyways I know this is not a typical Christmas nail polish color but it does remind me of Christmas ornaments! I think it's a pretty polish that stands out and is great for the holidays.

China Glaze - Mistletoe Kisses

Mistletoe Kisses

This polish is from China Glaze's 2010 Holiday Collection. I love this polish because you get an even finish with only two coats; I also love the fact that it is green with a bit of silver undertones, which makes it perfect for the holiday season.

Revlon Silver Screen & Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty

Silver Winter Wonderland Nails

Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty is a clear base polish packed with fine silver glitter. I used about 3 coats of this polish. I only added it to my ring finger to give it some sparkle. What I like about this polish is that it distributes the glitter evenly. This polish retails for $1.99.

Revlon Silver Screen is literally liquid metal on your nails and I love it! It's a metallic polish with a slight blue tint and fine shimmer. It does leave brush strokes so you have to be careful when applying it. I used 3 coats to get an even finish.

OPI - Red Shatter

Red Shatter

I applied Red Shatter overcoat over Milani Gold Glitz (scroll down for review). I chose to put red over gold because I think red and gold are perfect together and they are both Christmas colors. When using a texture overcoat it is best to apply top coat over your base polish, especially if you are putting it over a glitter polish otherwise the overcoat won't "shatter". The one disappointing thing about Red Shatter is that you cannot wear it over a dark polish. If you try applying it over a dark color, the polish loses it's red and looks more like a very dark burgundy and blends with the dark polish so you can barely see it. I found this very disappointing because I really wanted to try this color over black. However, Red Shatter is a very rich and vibrant red and that's what I love most about it.

Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby and OPI Rising Star

Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby and OPI Rising Star

Ruby Ruby by Sinful Colors Professional is a creme, true red polish! I love this polish because it is very opaque and is NOT streaky at all! Also it is only $1.99. To make this polish stand out a bit I added OPI Rising Star on my ring finger for a more festive and different look :)

(I already reviewed OPI Rising Star on our Countdown to Christmas a couple of days ago, so for futher review on that polish check down below =D )

Milani - Gold Glitz

Gold Glitz

This polish is from the Milani One Coat Glitter line. I applied only one coat of Gold Glitz was amazed with the results because it really is all you need. It leaves a nice even finish and isn't streaky, it covers every part of the nail. The polish has copper and cool-toned gold glitter, which is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this polish and all the other polishes in the one coat glitter line. I will review the other polishes from this line in the future. Also, they retail for $3.99

OPI Extra-va-vaganza!

OPI Extra-va-vaganza!

OPI Extra-va-vaganza! is part of OPI's Holiday Burlesque Collection 2010. This polish is a copper, orange color. Now the glitter is what makes this polish stand out besides the name. It has blue green glitter, gold glitter, silver glitter, and in the sunlight it you can see hints of pink glitter but it may just be the glimmer or reflection in the light. Application is even, about 3 coats is what you will need. The glitter is also evenly distributed which is great.

Ruby Kisses - Neon Green

Neon Green

I found this nail polish at a beauty supply store and have not seen this brand anywhere else, so I am assuming it is only available at select beauty supply stores. It was very affordable with a retail price of $1.99.

The name of this polish may through some people off because it is not exactly a neon green, it is more of an earthy and leafy green, which is why I love it. I had been searching for a color like this for months and then finally came across this one. Unfortunately, the formula for this polish is not that great. I would recommend at least three coats to get an even finish. The color is really great though and I will continue to look for a color that is similar to this.

China Glaze - Twinkle Lights

China Glaze - Twinkle Lights

China Glaze Twinkle Lights is part of the 2011 Holiday collection and I have to say it's my favorite polish from the collection! The polish is a clear base packed with a metallic green, red, and gold glitter. This literally is the epitome of a Christmas nail polish! It has all the Christmas colors in one polish. I wish the camera could really capture the beauty of this polish because it has a foil finish to it! It sparkles so much too. I needed 4 coats of this polish. It does apply unevenly at times so you will need a few coats to get an even finish.

I added 3 pictures in different lights so you can truly see how beautiful this polish is :)

Sinful Colors - Snow Me White

Snow Me White - Sinful Colors Professional

Snow Me White is your typical white nail polish, with a creme finish. The only problem I had with this polish was that it applies a bit streaky if you don't get much product on the brush. Other than that, it was great because it's a true white color. I needed 3 coats of this polish. Again Sinful Colors Professional is such an affordable line of polishes with an amazing color selection. ( I chose this polish for our Countdown to Christmas because you can use this white polish as a base for glitter polishes! I will definitely be doing this in future posts =D )

Sinful Colors - Last Chance

Sinful Colors Professional: Last Chance

Last Chance is such a perfect green varnish for Christmas. It truly reminds me of a Christmas tree! This varnish is also a creme finish, which I personally love. You can find Sinful Colors Professional polishes at Rite Aid, Target, and beauty supply stores. Now what I love about Sinful Colors is first, they only cost $1.99 and they create dupe collections for OPI!
